A Gainesville man recently won $125,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game. The unusual thing about this win is that the winner already knew his exact winning numbers before the draw. How may you ask? Apparently, though a dream!
Carlos Ramos matched all five numbers with two tickets in the drawing April 27, according to a news release.
With one ticket, he wagered 25 cents. So, when that ticket matched all five numbers, it won $25,000. With his other ticket, he wagered a full dollar to win the $100,000 top prize.

The chances of winning the $100,000 top prize are 1 in 278,256.
He bought the tickets at Golden Group, 8536 Sudley Road in Manassas, and at the Food Lion at 15201 Washington Street in Haymarket.
The winning numbers were 5-8-11-28-34.
Ramos works in sales and said he bought the tickets on his way to work. He intends to use his winnings to pay bills and possibly take a nice vacation, lottery officials said.
