The search is on for a Euromillions winner who has yet to claim their life-changing prize. The winner has until January to claim it.
The National Lottery is hunting for the lucky winner of a £1 million prize in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker competition.
Good Luck On A Day Of Bad Luck
This is following the draw on Friday, July 13. This day is more commonly be associated with bad luck rather than lottery wins.
The secret millionaire purchased their ticket in Powys ahead of the draw.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area for this special EuroMillions draw on Friday 13 July to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.
“The number 13 has turned out to be not so unlucky for this ticket-holder”
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.
The winning code on 13 July 2018 for this prize was VLNJ 92060. The lucky ticket-holder has until 9 January 2019 to claim their prize.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
